the purposes of education

I'm going to update this post at a later time but it's going to be about the purposes of education and connecting with what's happening at the tertiary level. I'll begin with two documents which can be considered quite critically to reveal some interesting things that are happening:

The Harvard Taskforce on General Education has just released this document:
